CHARACTER COUNTS!!

Character counts in the First Grade!

The pillars of Respect, Trustworthiness,
Caring, Fairness, Responsibility, and Citizenship are reinforced daily in the classrooms.

Children receive verbal warnings for first offenses. After additional offenses, the child will move their name or colors on the discipline chart. If the problem persists the child may "walk" the playground during their recess time. For serious offenses they could receive an immediate office referral.

All communication to parents is done daily through the child's take home folder. Open communication is very important between the parents and teachers. If for at any reason you have questions regarding your child's folder or academic progress, please do not hesitate to call your teacher.
